About the event
Planning for Learning: A Thinking Approach
How might you describe your relationship with the Early Years Planning Cycle?
Are you feeling a little stuck?
Or perhaps looking for an opportunity to reimagine how planning lives in your place?
Join me for a day of dialogue and professional learning as we think with the Early Years Planning Cycle. Drawing on the Early Years Learning Framework, we will explore the cycle as an orientation for thinking, gently nudging beyond a mindset of simply completing steps. In this workshop, we will examine the Planning Cycle as a dynamic approach to understanding children’s learning and reflecting on our own practice.
Together, we will explore the ideas that inform each phase, consider tools that can support intentional decision making, and strengthen connections to practice through examples of documentation.
